I feel like Tokon has been making  alot of good moves as of recently. Fixing some of the game system, adding two cool female characters with Magik and Peni. What other cool things could Tokon add for me? Well, adding one of my favorite MCU characters!!!

That’s right, we’re getting…BLACK PANTHER!? But not the Black Panther that we expected. This is the T’Challa Black Panther, but Shuri, T’Challa’s sister. Which is a total shock to me, but a shock I’m happy about. I def didn’t expect her, but I think this is a cool swerve. Her design is cool, and her playstyle is sick. But, you always have someone getting upset by these decisions.

I feel like these people are making a fake issue out of nothing. I get it, you wanted T’Challa, but I don’t get why Shuri being in the game just erases all the other big games that T’Challs have been in. And trying to say her big unpopularity is a reason she shouldn’t have been put in the game is stupid as well. Peni used to be unpopular, until Spider Verse. They add unpopular characters into these games, to hopefully help them gain popularity. Like, I didn’t know who Magik was until Marvel Rivals. Luna WHO?! Luna Snow was no one until Marvel Rivals. And if we would have gotten male Black Panther, we wouldn’t be getting sexy fan art like we’re getting now.

Most of these people weren’t going to get the game anyways. So I’ll be enjoying the new Black Panther on my Tokon team, and wash all the haters who talked shit about her when I meet them online.

What do you think of Shuri being Black Panther? Do you think we should have gotten T’Challa? Are you getting Tokon? Tell us in the comments.
