One of the hypest things to see as an anime and gaming fan, is an anime you enjoy getting a video game. One of the scariest things is because that anime game can just be another boring and generic arena fighter, or some Dynasty Warrior clone slop. So with the announcement of a GACHIAKUTA game, I haven’t my expectations pretty low.

No real gameplay with this teaser trailer, but we get a good look at the graphics, and also the genre it’s supposed to be. The game is tagged as a Survival Action RPG, which let me be honest, sounds more interesting than a Dynasty Warrior clone or an arena fighter. But I can’t really picture what they mean by that. Like, it sounds cool, but will it really work?

I do like seeing an anime game do something different from the usual formula. They usually only stick in one lane, so it’s always cool seeing anime games venture out. Not going to lock down buying this game yet until I see more gameplay, but I am totally interested in seeing what they do with the IP.
