Cyberpunk 2077 wasn’t really great or a big hit on release. But Cyberpunk: Edgerunners was a masterpiece from the jump. So it’s not surprising that they figured they’d make a sequel to it. Who’s excited for another Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2. 

So, not to spoil anyone who hasn’t already watched Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, the ending was closed off perfectly. It doesn’t really need a sequel. So I'm happy to see, at least from the promotional image, that the new Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is going to have a different cast of characters, just in the same universe. And I’d expect to see cameos of old characters here and there, but I think the main goal of this sequel is to talk about and explore new characters. 



I’ll be honest, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners was an out of nowhere hit. I’m not sure if they could recreate that magic, but I’m totally interested in seeing if they can.
