This game is looking to be the next Final Fantasy 16, and it may be dropping in 2026. No release date as of yet, but with how much Playstation has been showing this game off, and with how much complete gameplay footage we’ve already gotten, it’s safe to say we should at least be getting a release date sometime this year. Tides of Annihilation is looking to be another great/fun action game.





But, with great games, come great slander. If you were already amazed by the amazing female main leads voice acting, then that’s because she’s played by the amazing Game of the Year 2025 award winner for best video game performance, Jessica English. The voice behind the amazing Maell from Expedition 33. But even if you have ears that haven’t lost all cognitive hearing, that doesn’t mean other people haven’t. Because some people are already considering not buying the game because Jessica English is the voice for the main female lead.

Just like Ghost of Yotei, people are already trying to discredit Tides of Annihilation because they have an issue with the person voicing the main lead. And for me personally, not for reasonable reasons. Jessica seems like a sweet person, and is not spewing any hate towards anyone. Just because of her lifestyle and her sexual orientation, people are already having an issue with the games that she may be in, which is completely stupid to me. She’s proud to be gay, so what? Would they get mad if someone stated they were proud to be an American? It’s all totally stupid.

So Tides of Annihilation is already looking good, and sounds good from what I can tell. I hope the two female characters have a lot of gay, hot, sweaty battles with lesbian undertones, just to rub in the haters face.
