A manga that my friend has been hyping up for awhile, and I feel like many have been waiting for, is getting an anime. And no, I’m not talking about Kagura Bachi, I’m talking about Sakamoto Days!!!!

That’s right, Sakamoto Days is finally getting an anime. It’ll be starting our 2025 off right, with airing in January of that year. So the start of next year is seemingly going to be a strong one, and Sakamoto Days also is peaking my interest cause a lot of people are comparing it to Gintama.

Same vibe.

The studio behind the anime TMS Entertainment, which has some people disappointed. It’s not like TMS hasn’t dropped bangers before, but they aren’t a name you know like MAPPA, Ufotable, or Bones. But the PV shows a hint of what they’re cooking, and it doesn’t look bad so far.

The only thing people may have to worry about is it being on Netflix. Netflix has ruined shows like Jojo Part 6, from getting the hype and attention it needed, with it being released in bulk. It works for American shows, but anime is a little different. So it would be sad if the same thing happened to Sakamoto Days, but we have a few months before we have to worry about that, so they have time to rethink their strategy.

Are you hype about Sakamoto Days? Do you trust TMS with the animation? Do you think Netflix will fuck it up? Tell us in the comments.
