Guest characters in fighting games aren't anything new. But sometimes they can really blow your mind out of the water, or just be kind of, “oh yeah, that’s a cool addition to the cast.” When a character reveal is something that is totally left field, but also something beloved, that’s when you have a recipe for an amazing guest character, like Guilty Gear Strive character reveal at EVO.

Lucy from Cyberpunk Edgerunnners is going to be a DLC character in Guilty Gear Strive. A lot of fighting games have had DLC guest characters and even crossover video games with other series, but this is a first for the Guilty Gear series. Their first ever guest character, and it’s a big one. I will be honest, I’m surprised it’s Lucy, and not David or Rebecca. But Lucy is still an amazing pick. The only other guest characters I can think of that’s close to being this big is maybe Negan or Noctis in Tekken 7.

We will sadly have to wait for Lucy to be playable in Guilty Gear Strive until Summer 2025. That’s a long time to wait until we see some great 3D NSFW porn using the Lucy Guilty Gear Strive model, but a wait that I’ll be looking forward to. Guess I’ll be playing Guilty Gear Strive again in 2025.

Are you excited for Lucy? Is she the biggest fighting game guest character? Would you rather see some else from Cyberpunk Edgerunners get in? Tell us in the comments.
