Now do I think this anime deserves a game? No, not really. But that’s most likely because I’ve never watched The Eminence in Shadow and not because it’s an actual bad choice. I would just rather play a Jujutsu Kaisen fighting game. And no, Curse Clash doesn’t count. But, maybe this game will turn out to at least be funnier than that train wreck.

I’m not too familiar with The Eminence in Shadow, but it does look like a show that would make a great gacha game. Not saying that this is a gacha game, but the show has a big selection of female characters which make them great to roll on. But, with this being a hack and slash, action game, the different female characters, with different weapons and playstyles, will keep the gameplay fresh. The same way to the roguelike aspect is going to keep the game fresh, and grab my interest in trying out.

Right now, we only have confirmation of a 2027 release, with no release date. I’ve become a big fan of roguelike games, and usually give them a try. So if some people come out with good opinions on this game and its system, maybe I’ll check out the game and show.
