Another series this season that might have more animation put into it then it deserves, is Too Many Losing Heroines! A kind of…harem show, or maybe it’s better to call it a deconstruction of the harem genre. I’m not going to call this a show. I don’t want to claim that this is a show that people should go out and watch, but I’m enjoying it so far.

Now the main topic of this article is if this show is going to be the same from all the other light novel romcoms/harems, or is it going to be different. Is the heroine that we wouldn’t expect to win, actually going to win. Cause the main girl is usually the one who’s going to win in these types of shows, no matter how much they try to trick you into believing that the other girls have a chance. Cause if we’re going to be honest, the blue haired girl, Anna, is obviously going to win.

Like, come on, she’s the main female character, so she has to win. Even though they’ve already shown that our second female protagonist, Lemon, has shown interest in our main character. And as a man who likes tomboys, and girls with tanlines, I would support her winning.

She knows how to convince me.

But then we have another character, and the last one we need to worry about “maybe” having a chance. And it’s the short and awkward, Chika.

Now, in all honesty, the reason I would want the main female character Anna to lose, is because at this point, they presented her as a kind of cool, bro character to the main character. More so a wing girl, instead of a romantic interest. I feel like that could be a cool and different dynamic. A girl who helps you trying to get in a relationship, instead of the one trying to get in a relationship with you. I think she’s a great character, but not the character I want to win. If I was a part of this show, I would want the teacher to win my heart.

So I’m enjoying this show enough to keep watching it to see how everything turns out. It’s based off a light novel that’s not over yet, so I doubt I’ll be getting a winner by the end of the season, but if the show gets popular like Romantic Comedy Snafu, maybe I can see who wins in the end.
