I’m more mad that it seems like we’re getting another tag fighting game. We already have Marvel Tokon, Invincible VS, 2XKO, and Hunter x Hunter Nen Impact. And with Arc System disappointing all of us with not a new fighting game announcement, but with DAMON and Baby, I’m just looking for another 1 v 1 fighting game. But nope, Saturday AM Battle Manga is looking to be just another tag fighting game.

Now, with the property being that of a lot of series I’m not familiar with, that does have my interests peak. But, most people aren’t really caring about it being a fighting game, or that we’re getting another tag game. Oh no, we’re getting back into the argument of if it’s considered manga or not.

Now if you know anything about Saturday AM, they do present themselves like a weekly shonen manga magazine. And, from what I can tell, the manga they release are drawn and stylized with a manga aesthetic. But it also seems like it reads right from left, which for me, fundamentally doesn’t really translate to being a manga in my mind.

But either way, my biggest issue is it being a tag game, not if these series are really considered manga or not. I’m def hype to see how the game starts developing and how its gameplay will look like. Manga or not, I’m happy we’re getting more fighting games, but my wallet isn’t.
